🎆 Freedom from self-doubt

Hi Reader,

Four years ago, during a coaching training exercise, someone said something that stopped me cold: "You light people up like fireworks."

While everyone else was getting generic compliments, that phrase felt true in a way that made me squirm—and eventually led me to name my business Fireworks Coaching.

Since then, I've logged nearly 600 hours coaching dozens of clients. While many land new jobs, the real transformation happens in the inner work: getting unstuck, making clear decisions, recovering confidence, and learning to trust themselves again.

Here's what I've learned: Good work matters, but defining and living your Good Life is what truly lights us up.

This Fourth of July week, as we celebrate freedom, I'm offering 35 free coaching sessions to help you discover yours. Why 35? It's been exactly that many years since I graduated from Tufts University. Despite all I've learned about myself and the world since then, I still don't always know what I want either.

You're not alone in this. Life keeps serving up new decision points. You keep evolving. The goal isn't to have it all figured out—it's to trust yourself through the uncertainty.

Ready to stop second-guessing yourself? I'm also hosting a free Trust Yourself Table Talk on July 16th at 4pm Pacific. Sometimes the best insights come from discovering you're not the only analytical woman navigating these challenges.

🎆 Get in touch. Your Good Life is waiting to be illuminated.

Warmly,

Becky

Hello Reader, As we close out 2025, a year that asked a lot from all of us, I keep coming back to something Cheryl Strayed said on Adam Grant’s WorkLife podcast five years ago. It has quietly shaped how I run my business, make decisions, and navigate the hard days. The Truest Thing (and Why We Need It Now) Cheryl Strayed—author of Wild and the Dear Sugar column—talked about the difference between the true thing and the truer thing. The true thing is often the fear. The doubt. The swirl of “I’m...

Hi Reader, Tomorrow’s the day!Trust Yourself Table Talk goes live Wednesday at 4:00 pm PT / 7:00 pm ET, and I wanted to pop in with a little pre-event pep talk. I asked a few clients how they used to answer: “So… tell me about yourself.” Here were some of the replies: 👉 “I grew up in Ohio and I really love cheese.” 👉 “Um… well… I have a cat named Olive – does that count?” 👉 “Honestly? I panic and start listing every job I’ve ever had since 1998.” We’ve all done it — blurted out random facts,...
